Nothing fancy, but a nice place to stay. Everything was clean and breakfast is included with your stay. There's a shopping center 3 miles down the road with Target, Best Buy, and a number of restaurants. Right off of 95.

A lovely stop! We visited in January so there wasn't a lot to see, but our visit coincided with a half price admission deal and we were the only visitors on-site at the time. We would definitely come back when it's warmer and there's more to see.

Picturesque. Definitely a laid-back atmosphere, so don't expect a plethora of exciting shopping opportunities. But stores include clothing, furniture, antique, specialty foods, and more. If shopping isn't your thing, there are a number of delicious places to eat and for the kids/families there is a playground and park. Our family has been enjoying the Waterfront area for years.
Pro-tip: if you visit the Beaufort Visitors Center you can find a brochure for the Chocolate Tree (candy store) that includes a coupon for a free chocolate sand dollar!
