We visited Dismals Canyon on a cross county RV trip in September and it was beautiful. The giant, moss-covered rocks make it feel like you're walking through Jurassic Park and the waterfalls are beautiful.

We stayed for two nights in one of the cabins for mid-trip break from the RV. The cabin was absolutely charming and felt like something out of a Disney Christmas special.

The soda fountain is only open Friday-Sunday for limited hours, but the cabin has a full kitchen with plates, pans, etc., so you can make your own food.

If you're used to healthy/organic be sure you know where you'll be stopping for food before you leave. We stopped at Whole Foods in Memphis that morning but tried to find fresh fruit once we got closer and the only grocery store we found really limited, not-so-fresh produce options and no organic food.

They allow pets for an additional fee ($40 per pet for the stay), plus extra deposit. Our dogs had a great time, but if you have allergies, it might be worth checking to see if they have a cabin that stays fur-free.

This is a fantastic place to unwind and experience some incredibly cool facets of nature and is definitely worth the trip!

I loved seeing this place! It feels like being inside an Elvis themed time capsule. The picture they take of you before getting on the shuttle is $40 to buy which is more than I paid for admission and you can get pictures anywhere yourself as long as you don't use a flash inside. It only took a couple of hours (we skipped the planes) and I'm glad I went. Just don't make the mistake of eating at the Chrome Cafe. The food was some of the worst I've ever had - really salty canned or frozen mush.

We really enjoyed this place. After hearing from multiple people that staying any closer to Graceland would put us in a high crime area, we picked this place (about 15 minutes away) and it was a great choice. You can opt to stay right on the Mississippi River or a bit father back among huge beautiful trees. It's well run and clean with free really nice laundry facilities. You can buy copies of Tom Sawyer in the office and they pick up trash multiple times a day from each site. I'd definitely stay here again.

Definitely worth seeing. We just drove through and stopped at designated areas to enjoy the views and take pictures but I would love to go back and have time for a bike ride. The area outside of the actual park is really pretty too.

I'd never been to Arkansas before and this turned out to be one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. There are gorgeous trails, places to rent kayaks and canoes, and more stars at night than I'd ever seen. It's a bit of a drive into the Ozarks but the elevation isn't as high as I thought it would be and it was so beautiful that I would definitely go back. There are tons of bugs but rubbing some tea tree oil on ourselves and a little bit on our date ga seemed to keep most of the bugs at bay. The RV sites at Buffalo Point are large and fairly private as far as RV sites go. Really a beautiful and unspoiled place.

I booked a spot here on our cross country trip after seeing their website, which made it seem kitschy and fun. We arrived at night and and left after 10 minutes. There was a designated area for people that actually lived there but it felt like a pretty large number of the guests were long term and not other travelers. There were sketchy looking men in the spots on either side of us that were outside drinking by themselves (separately) and that silly looking limo with horns that seemed fun on the website is really old and dumpy. The old, dumpy limo I could live with, being surrounded by creepy drunk men I can't.

I was pretty excited about this place but was really disappointed. It's not worth a visit unless you happen to be driving by anyway. The water is pretty but it's really small and when I was there, there were so many divers that we couldn't really enjoy it. I'm sure it's different if you dive, but the fact that it was so small and crowded kinda killed it for me. There's not much else around the area so I was glad we just happened to be passing through and didn't go out of our way to see it.

Nice and clean with a super friendly staff. It's not far from the highway which seems like a drawback at first, but makes it really convenient when you're tired from driving all day. The spots aren't particularly large or beautiful but they are well kept and there are trees and a nice dog park. It's also not far from Old Town Albuquerque which, while a bit touristy, is a really fun place to explore and pickup souvenirs.

We stayed here because the campground with hookups was full but ended up loving it. It's a beautiful area, and it's not far from Mather Point, which is a great lookout spot. The bathrooms were clean but there's no soap so bring your own.
