Stayed for one night here, in September 2020. PROS: Called four hours before arrival and they were able to get us in. The campground feels safe, overall pretty clean, and has some pretty lakes to walk around. There was a friendly atmosphere, albeit crowded. CONS: This place is huge, which for many might be a pro, but for us - it was WAY too crowded. Campers are packed in like sardines, and ‘enjoying nature’ is not part of the equation with this many kids running around and dogs barking nonstop. If you have a big family with kids and dogs, this place is probably perfect for you, but if you are looking to get away from it all and enjoy nature with some peace and quiet - this place is not it. The grounds are massive, they definitely have figured out how to pack em in here. Another con - if you have any difficult parking a trailer squeezing it in tight to a small spot - this isn’t for you. We had to back in a tiny spot right between two trees that were pretty close together (which I will add I’d prefer the trees to some trailers that were just wedged between other trailers).. SO - if you like over-crowded campgrounds with barking dogs this could be for you.
