We were not impressed with this hotel at all. It was more expensive than most of the other surrounding hotels. Our room was really small and our bathroom wreaked of mildew. Despite how this hotel is depicted in the photos, there were no fancy fresh flowers in the pool area, lobby or rooms. Breakfast was not included, only coffee and tea. The tea they used was no-name brand house blend- not even Lipton or Tetley.
This place needs some serious help. They still have bedskirts, one was completely shifted so that it wasn’t even hanging down on one side and it was pooled up on the floor on the other side. There were hairs in the bathtub. The pool looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in days. And the beds didn’t have blankets- they had a sheet and then a textured sheet on top. Go somewhere else!
Beautiful and unique hike. Much of the hike is going up a smooth rock mountain with full sun exposure. According to the locals, people die on this 3 mile hike every year. If you are going in the summer, definitely get an early start and bring plenty of water. If you are going at a time when the trail isn’t busy, it may be difficult to follow at times. Once you reach The Delicate Arch there is plenty of space to rest and take in the view. The arch itself is magnificent.
We did the 4 hour slot canyon rappelling trip and had an awesome time! Our guide, Anthony, was very nice and especially patient with our cranky kids! EZE provided a personalized experience away from the crowds. This adventure was a major highlight of our cross country National Parks vacation. I highly recommend this company!
Absolutely breathtaking drive. You will need to pay a $20 fee to get into Custer State Park in order to access this drive, but it is worth every cent. Leave enough time to stop at each overlook and pull off.
Beautiful hike in Custer State Park. The very end is a bit anticlimactic, but the area just before the end is gorgeous. The trail varies- sometimes flat, sometimes steep, sometimes narrow, sometimes wide. We were here in late July and there were abundant wildflowers along the path.
Fun little Chicago icon surrounded by lovely parks, memorials and fun playgrounds for kids.
Beautiful newer hotel. Fresh cookies upon arrival. Renee at the front desk was welcoming, lovely and helpful!
