WATCH OUT FOR THE FALSE CINCH BUGS!!! They seem immune to bug spray and are EVERYWHERE. Hair, inside shirts and pants, etc. They may not bite, but it feels like it. They like white, pearly, brighter, and shiny things, so they cling to the cars.
Otherwise, it was an amazing experience!

Beautiful! $15 per vehicle. Went on a Sunday around 330pm. So cool to see igneous rocks along the way. Truly a spectacular view!
This marker on the map is NOT the entrance to the monument. It’s more northwest of here on 87N.
One of the few places in which the road goes straight through the ghost town. Really decrepit old building. Nice! And quick visit! :)

Couldn’t find the location. No buildings marked as such. Very sad. We love stained glass and would’ve loved to update this stop with photos and a better review. :(
