Very nice rest area! Clean and has a nice area to read about the history of the area. We stopped to rest for a few hours and once it was light out it was a nice place to eat breakfast we packed and take in the views.
Lots to do and see here! They have a nascar driving game, a huge aquarium, live alligators in the store, and more to do and see! Something for everyone. All pretty expensive though!
Beautiful park and nice an quiet! The park staff are all volunteers. Everyone kept telling us to come back when we had more time than a night because there is more to do. Great location to camp with lots to do and great places to eat around it.
It was a nice way to get out in the forest and walk around. Great photo ops! However you have to pay $5/person to go see the rock and bridge and it was a lot smaller than I expected! Still good to see but don’t go out of your way.
Talk about stunning camp sites! We were surrounded by woods and the beautiful fall leaves. We got extraordinary lucky because we walked in and got a spot even though they were sold out for the next 2 months! So, call ahead! There are several hiking trials. Very clean and activities for the whole family!
One of my favorite things we saw on our trip to AR! Simply incredible! A wonderful place to visit in the fall because all the leaves were changing and he ivy was growing on the ground. Absolutely breath taking! I would definitely make the trip and just walk around the paths even if it’s just to stretch your legs on your way to the next place!
It’s free and offbeat so naturally awesome. However, I wouldn’t say it plunges 25 ft. It’s smaller than that but still very peaceful and beautiful! We enjoyed our morning coffees on the ledges. Beautiful natural rock formations. There aren’t very many signs at all for it so I’m sure many people don’t even know about it! I’d recommend.
This campground is beautiful! We called a # off the internet and Left a voicemail. Mike called back and was extremely helpful! It was dark and we weren’t familiar with the area so he walked us through how to get there. Mike even offered to start our fire for us before we got there so it was ready when we arrived. He scrummaged up some fire wood for us and everything! So kind. $25 for a tent site with water and electric. Sites are beautiful right off a river. There’s a rocky bank to walk on. Great experience!
Such a beautiful park! So much fun to crawl on the rock, hike around, and look for sea shells and sea glass! The view is amazing. Blue water and wildlife.
This Catholic Church is absolutely beautiful! Its outside services is what it is known for. A huge yard with tons of places to sit. A beautiful pins, fountains, and of course the Mary shrine. Even if not religious, still a great place to visit.
