A friend of mine just had a great album of photos here for their pre-nuptial shoot. The whole place was just magnificent. The flowers were bright, colorful and a feast for the eyes. The tulips were simply breathtaking. They also had some photos with the cabin in the background. The photograph was just amazing. It had a very vintage and classic feel to it. The botanical garden was well maintained and is definitely a wonderful place to go to.

Went here with the whole family during the Christmas season. There was so much to do. We visited the museum and enjoyed their petting zoo. We appreciated that there were animals on the walk going to the museum. Some of the animals that welcomed us were the zebras, bisons, and llamas. Moving on to the museum, the whole place was really interesting. I never expected that my dad would enjoy the place as much as the kids. He was so enthralled by the pistol collection that was exhibited inside. There was an abundance of historical photos inside which showed how people from the past generations lived. For lunch, we brought our own food and enjoyed a picnic outside the ranch. Cheap but great place.

I fun and quirky spot. Once you walk in, a full blast from the past is sure to welcome you. There's just so much inside that would make you have the classic and nostalgic feels; it was like a 1950's retro complex. There were a handful of vintage cars parked in front of the Boondocks which undoubtedly draws attention from the people. At the back, there were several rides which looked pretty much something from an old carnival. Interesting stuff never runs out here. As for the food, it was good but nothing fancy.

I'm not a vegan, but to my surprise, the first time I went here, I instantly fell in love this place. They offer a wide variety of vegetarian food to choose from. Their cuisine is like indulging yourself with comfort food but with a healthy one. This is one perfect place for the saying "healthy is the new delicious". Their food is simple but the flavors are just bursting. A personal favorite of mine are the corn fritters with tomato jam. The fritters were nowhere near oily. They were golden and the texture mixed really well with the jam. Another must try is their beet burger. This definitely gets a hands down from me.

The ruins of the castle screams so much history. The place in itself is simply amazing. It is an majestic photo spot. The background was just marvelous. The architecture and the scenery was simply amazing. Aside from this beautiful sight, there are also lots of things to do around the area. We went fishing and tried horseback riding, too. A great place for outdoorsy people.

A friend of ours, who has already been here for a couple times, invited us for a trip to this area. Having the advantage that our friend already know hot to go to this hidden gem, we didn't hesitate to travel here. This was definitely one of the best hikes in the Ozark Mountains. The hike was pretty easy, and the views were just magnificent. For more adventurous trekkers, you would want to hike up the steep hillside and little stream going south of the Mill Stones. You will be able to see a place called Sand Stone Castle. This is one hidden place with a surely amazing view.

One of the offbeat attractions that I weirdly enjoyed. We met the owner, Gary. He was so full of information about route 66. He was such a sweetheart. It was pretty nice that we could definitely feel that he has so much love for the road. He is also very knowledgeable about the things the you can do in the surrounding areas. You can buy shirts from his shop, too. Definitely one happy place.

A unique sight from a distance, especially at night. The sculptures are illuminated and shows an amazing array of silhouettes. For those who are passing by this attraction, that's quite everything that you could get; a view of shadows from afar. A quirky roadside entertainment.

A rather cool way to showcase ones' trash. It's just basically a place full of recycled stuff. Don't expect anything fancy; just pieces of art that are definitely quirky and fun. Not worth a long trip, but if you're just near the area, go ahead and check it out.

My brother and I camped here for a night. And boy, we had lots of fun here. We tried almost everything that the place offered. The first thing that we did was set camp. There were several groups who camped as well. Just before noon, we headed to the river to go fishing. We were able to catch a few good ones and grilled them for our lunch. In the late afternoon, we went kayaking on the calm side of the river. The view was surely awesome. The valleys and mountain views were definitely something that made a mark on us. I highly recommend this trip to those who are nature-loving and outdoorsy.
