You pull off on the side of the road and these mounds are sorta in the distance.
This place is beautiful. We camped right beside the lake and woke up to golden rays of sun filtering through our tent. At night you could just lay there and listen to nature and watch the stars. The hiking trails were so fun. There were so many waterfalls we found while hiking, some you could just stand under and enjoy the cool water on a hot day. It was truly an amazing experience.
This is the place to go when you're hanging out in Gulf Shores. Great fun, great music, friendly people. Right on the beach. You'll love it.

Unfortunately it has been closed for a few years now due to damage from a previous hurricane. I spend the summers in Pascagoula, and ride by every year to see if it's opened back up.
