Excellent park - definitely need to stay overnight (at least two). This place is popular, so make reservations well in advance. The park team is fantastic and show they really care for this park. The park offers - river activities, bike trails, a historical fort, and two beaches (north and south). They also offer refreshment stands and great facilities.
This is the type of review I hate to write, since it will attract more people to this incredible gem in North Florida. My family camped here for two nights - facilities, park team, and overall park were fantastic. The beach was perfect, 5 miles of untouched sand and nature. No condos, no homes, just pure dunes, sand and water. This is my families new 2nd favorite location in Florida. If you want quite beach time this is the place. I highly suggest the Dunes Ridge Trail - you exit right at the top of the beach.
