It might just be a gravestone, but for some reason, it is a whole lot of fun to say you visited the site where Stonewall Jackson's arm is buried. Located on the Ellwood Plantation, the house is beautiful and fun to see as well. The volunteers are all very interested in what they do and love talking about the history of the plantation, area, and battles around it. This is the address: 36380 Constitution Hwy, Locust Grove, VA 22508.

Large collections of so many noted artists. It's easy to "create your own tour" and just see the artists you are interested in or even duck in to see a specific piece you really like. My sister and I visited one day and returned the next day to see one of her favorite sculptures again. Not as long a line to get in either.

This was hands-down my favorite part of my trip to Washington D.C. Beautiful artwork, beautiful building. A small to medium size museum which can be a nice break from the larger more crowded museums.

Very fun to see the original documents from the founding of America. However, the line is quite long to get in and you don't have much time in front of the documents. They make you move along quite quickly and the documents are very faded. For me, it was worth it to wait in line and see them, but that would not be true for everyone especially depending on time restrictions.

So much fun! The open layout is nice; it made it feel less crowded than some of the other museums. Really great displays on American wars, the Wright brothers, the moon landing, etc.!

A must-see for the D.C. area. Seeing the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is very interesting. Please be quiet and respectful when visiting. The Arlington house is under construction currently but is still worth seeing for the view of D.C. from the top of the hill.

Fun piece of public art right in the middle of downtown Asheville! Right across from Woolworth's Walk and easy to find!
