It was worth the trip. Went on 11/12/16 and the water temp was a bit chilly at 52 degrees but you get a wetsuit that helped with the cold somewhat. If you are claustrophobic than do not go. You are not allowed to bring cameras or GoPros.

Highly recommended if staying in our around Lake Tahoe area. Cool little waterfall and great views of the lake. You also get to drive on a very sketchy road on the way up from South Lake Tahoe.
