This resort is fantastic. Staff are extremely friendly and the restaurant is well priced for delicious food.
I gotta say this is one of the coolest places to come during a winter storm. The waves hitting the coastal rocks are out of this world. Its crazy just how massive these rollers can get! Make sure to come on high tide and be prepared to get wet and be constantly fighting the wind!
I was expecting a little bit more out of this place. The only viewpoint is from right above and at low tide it is really boring. I wasn't lucky enough to see it at high tide so I may be wrong on this one. Find out for yourself and let me know if its worth coming back to at high tide!
The 17 mile road is filled with awesome scenes however this lone cypress is one of the most iconic ones! To be honest I personally am not sure why?
It is definitely a cool spot but there are other beaches and beach scenes here that are better in my opinion!
This is one of my all time favourite state parks. First off you have the legendary mcway falls which is literally a scene out of a dream. Then pfeiffer beach. After that you have a ton of other amazing looking scenes on the corner of each bend that will have you smiling as you drive the road! There is also free parking anywhere along the road for camping as long as you are just outside of the park boundary!
Pfeiffer beach itself is a beautiful spot that usually isn't all that crowded as its not the easiest to get to! There is a ton of sea life in the rocks and the beach itself seems to go on forever past the iconic sun portal rock.
I have heard lately that this photo spot has been getting even more jammed then when I was there with people trying to get the classic photo! Had to bring my vote down a # because of that!
Great american burger joint on the pier!
Very touristy spot but this was my first stop on a route 66 trip! On a clear day you can walk around forever getting awesome photo and awesome photo! It is always entertaining to people watch here as well

Supposedly a few feet per 10 years. Anyways it is a must see if you are in victoria and is basically a part of the inner harbour experience. Just off the road there will be street performers and lots of things to do.
Protip: get here early on canada day for an amazing experience and a perfect seat for the fireworks!
This was a childhood favorite location. The lagoon has some great swimming spots as well as the best skim boarding pools in the greater victoria area! The hike in will inhibit some but is well worth it!
