Best (cheap) breakfast in Vegas. I make it point to go there almost every morning when I am there.
We were looking for a campground when we were visiting Sleeping Bear Dunes and found this hidden gem. The camp sites are roomy, with enough space to relax without being on top of your neighbor. They have clean bathrooms and showers. The do offer quite a few tent camping sites. The pool is really well kept. Our site had a cement pad which helped keep the sand out of our camper. I would definitely come back here.
One of the most beautiful places in Michigan. We climbed the dune, which offered great views of Glen Lake and Lake Michigan. Off in the distance you can see South and north manitou islands. If you enjoy hiking there's a 3.5 mile hike to Lake Michigan. Nothing like hiking in sand to tire out the kids (and adults).
We just use this as a quick overnight stop. Our campground lot was large and looked nice. We used this as a quick overnight stop and woke up early to continue our journey . The spot was so level we don't have to disconnect.
Plenty of activities for the kids. Campground was nice, the staff was friendly, and the kids didn't want to leave. Plus is really close to Six Flags.
The campground / facilities are looking rundown, we have noticed they are working to restore some of the cabins. The bathrooms and laundry facility need an update too. The location was just a few miles from the badlands national park entrance. We used this as a base camp and didn't stay much at the campgrounds.
We used this as a base camp to explore the Tetons. It was nice for this purpose, but it was sort of expensive for a campground. Our location backed into an electrical substation, so it didn't have the best view. I would recommend camping closer to the Grand Tetons if you are going to explore.
Nice campground with a nice view. The movie "close encounters" is a nice family movie that ties in the Devils tower connection. It is a perfect place to camp if you are visiting Devils tower.
Please save your $28 entrance fee and take a photo from the highway. If you are hoping to learn more about crazy horse then read a book. This stop focused on the family that is building the sculpture.
We had reservations at the campgrounds and even had our lot number prior to arriving. We arrived late and found no one at the office. We called the phone number and no one answered, normally this would be no big deal since we had a lot number, however there was a gate preventing us from entering the campgrounds. Luckily, someone was returning and we got his gate number so we could enter the campgrounds. The campgrounds looked nice enough, very wooded and quiet. Don't plan on using their showers, they were pretty nasty.
