The location is amazing - only yards from the beach. The decor was well done and the staff very friendly. Wifi was just ok. You can walk or take a short drive to the sea caves where there are a couple of great restaurants.

You need to be thinking about what natural forces are at play here to truly appreciate Reversing Falls. We arrived for low tide and found it to be very beautiful and compelling. It's definitely worth a stop even if you are with kids, but I don't think that they will be entertained for long. You can stand on an observation deck or walk down the stairs to get down to the shoreline.

Absolutely gorgeous campground. Easily the most private sites of any campground we visited. Every site seems to have a water view. It's remote, and there is no electricity at any of the sites, but there is water. The toilets are not complete washroom style bathrooms but they are very clean. There are coin operated hot water showers but we didn't try them so can't attest to them but assume they are fine.

Really fabulous campground. Sites are not too close and the forest is lovely. Bathrooms are the best I've ever seen and there are hot water showers that are not coin operated. Fantastic choice in terms of location whether you want to hike, go out on the water or shop in Camden.

This is a great campground, particularly for families. Very clean and the showers are great. Pool and hot tub are well maintained. Sites are slightly closer together than we like but only by a bit. Owners were very nice and helpful.

Great little spot... you will wonder if you are in the wrong place but follow the small white signs. Selection of lavender plants is amazing and there is a sweet little store where you can buy lavender based products.

We stayed at the Mt Monadnock Gilson Pond Campground and it was great. The facilities were clean, the store was well stocked and the sites were well positioned. Tent sites had a platform to place the tent on. Monadnock is a steep climb and there are boulder fields, so plan to get your heart rate going!

Interesting place to visit. Parking is tight so look for a public parking lot and walk over. You should plan two hours or so to do it right and use the audio tour that comes with the price of your ticket. If you can, pre-order your ticket on their website to avoid the line.

Recommend getting there as early as possible to beat the crowds. There are roads that get you close and you can walk up to the site or you can go through the website for tickets which give you access to the museum and a shuttle bus to the site. We did the latter and thought it was worth it, plus we liked the idea of supporting the site's preservation.
