This is my new favorite hotel in Denver. The staff were great, the rooms spacious, clean and relaxing. The location is perfect to get to many things in the DTC area. Light Rail is close, many restaurants, Cherry Creek Reservoir. Perfect place to relax after adventures about.
For a place in the middle of nowhere USA, I loved this stop. There is a picnic area nice small park around the location marker. I brought my lunch and took a driving break and enjoyed the sound of the wind across the plains. Plus, RoadTrippers took me along a dirt road where I found the greatest Horse who whinnied at me as I drove by.
Don't go out of your way just for this. If you are driving along on your way to the geo center of the US, by all means just stop by. It's free, outside and there is parking. It's more a blob than a ball, and it is sure a weird site to see.
This town is delightful! You can easily park and walk to view all the murals as well as do a little window shopping. Iconic small town.
Photo stop at night if you can! The neon is worth it.
