Beat thing we did the whole trip! And free! Absolutely beautiful! Definitely worth the stop. Especially if you need to stretch your legs and walk a bit. Gps location was off here. Had to get directions from website. But worth the extra trouble.

The gps was a little off on this. You actually have to travel about a mile more down the road. Look for a sign that says Old Trace. There is a pull off to park and about a five min walk to get to the site. Not much to see there other than the grave sites and a placard with some history. But its a great place to reflect and a nice stretch break. We also stopped by the visitor center nearby. They had a lot of info there and suggestions of other neat things to see in the area if you have time. Worth the pull off.

It wasn't too impressive. Don't go to Beal St before noon. Everything was closed.

We drove through on a Saturday afternoon and everything was dead. The square was really quite. But we made the most of it and took some fun photos and found a geocache while there. One store was open across the street but everything was really pricey.

The family was super nice! The toys on display were less than i was expecting, but the overall experience is well worth the stop. We had sone good laughs and experienced some real southern hillbillies. Nicest people. Although, i did feel like i needed to shower after i left.
