Well run chain hotel.
This may be my family's favorite bed & breakfast experience ever. From the beginning, Ray and his staff were accommodating and helped us feel at home. The breakfast great and cooked to order. The prices are great and we never had problems finding a free parking space. The neighborhood has plenty of dining options and the L is only a 10-15 minute walk away. The bath robes were a nice touch. They had a small one for my son as well. There is a steam room and a sauna as well. Prices are very reasonable for Chicago.
Unfortunately, we did not watch the movie with our son before we went, but he really wants to watch it now.
This is a really neat park. They have preserved the streets as they used to be. My son and I learned a lot about Hoover and his upbringing. A great place to stroll along and learn something.
A fun place to walk around and shop.
Very comfortable room and the prices were reasonable. The innkeeper was friendly and helpful.
Neat park with a variety of different art pieces. Seems to be a meeting place for locals.
This is worth going to if you are nearby. It is hard to imagine that this was 60-years ago.
Quick drive-by shot.
Currently rennovating the barn and house so it is mostly trails. It started raining while we were there so we did not venture out. The views of the hills are worth the drive out there.
