This place is a gem. Beautiful setting looking out at the grand sand dunes. Not much else out there at all. A nice store with wooden board rentals (do it), but get in line early (like 8:00) cause we waited about 30 minutes in line because you can’t rent these boards anywhere else nearby.
Store had a restaurant that looks good but prices are a little high.
It’s a well run RV park.
I just called them and they said they are not offering tours in 2023
Awesome food market! Great place with tons of options. Outdoor and indoor seating. Highly recommend. We ate the Italian place and it was great.
Very nice hotel. Service was world class. Our suite was super nice and had the best hotel shower I’ve ever used. Good location. Beds were comfortable. Restaurant was temporarily closed for covid. Room service was on, but super expensive. Super nice though and high quality food. Definitely 5 stars.
Amazing hotel. So old and historic. In the coolest little town. Not much happening in the town at all, but that’s what makes it great. Really cool facilities, GREAT food, and super service. Highly recommend.
It’s nice. Might should be 4 stars. It’s just small and there’s not a ton to do.
Went there today and my 15 year old loved it. Very pretty and a very challenging climb. There are lots of crevices and cracks of lots of different routes you could take.
Unfortunately, you have to pay $20 to park.
There are also no trash cans there (on purpose).
A very impressive and fun sight. Have good shoes and be careful!
I was disappointed. I have high expectations for a Courtyard by Marriott. The wifi didn't work the night we got there, but it was working the next morning. Wife couldn't use the phone since no good data plan. There's no free breakfast and no newspaper (I'll pick another brand next time), but the breakfast they did offer was expensive! We paid $161 a night and I didn't think it was worth it.
