Fun little spot with a big indoor-outdoor beer garden. Guy serving us gave some really great wine suggestions. Cant remember much after that, we sunk a few bottles!
Not to be confused with Theodore M Berry International Friendship Park just over the river in Cincinnati.
You will be out in an area with no cell signal etc to get to this area, driving down forest roads that could get rough. Be sure to get the pdf from the forest service to reach the area, and don't rely on your phone! The PDF link is attached to this note :)
creepy little abandoned ranchers shack we found when out in our Jeep along the back country trails nearby, on a section of the Trans America Trail.
This is basically someones private collection, so if you go expecting a fancy Smithsonian type place you will be disappointed. However if you are a lover of superhero comics you will have heaps of fun digging through this really comprehensive collection. In fact if you are a fan of people putting their passions out there and going for it in general, you ought to get a kick out of this place.
There are a few McDonald's in Roswell, but this is the one you want!
It's a Mcdonalds! You are probably looking for the awesome UFO McDonalds (or you should be).. Fear not! it's a few mins up the road in downtown Roswell :)
If you are looking for the iconic UFO McDonalds in Roswell you'll find it just south in the town center :)
It's a great breakfast, no doubt, but I gather the place has recently been remodeled/rebuilt. Unfortunately its a bit modern and soulless, likely as part of that process. Is on its way to feeling like a chain.
Good value, comfortable, clean, with surprisingly stylish rooms. Because the checkin lady made me wait 5 minutes, she gave me free snacks and breakfast. So good service too! A win.
