Pros: Beautiful location. Wild peacocks in your site. Friendly staff. 24 hour laundry.
Con: sites are level
This is the correct location for the park, not the other one listed on Roadtrippers.
It has great shade, a beautiful view of the river valley (from some sites).
Great flush bathrooms and showers.
The museum is also worth the time.
Good access for kayaking.,
One of our favorites
the location that this shows on the map is wrong. Look for the other one. It is a great park.
Great place to stay. RV sites have individual covered patios. Beautiful views of the Watsach Range. Connected to boat ramp.
Good shared toilets and showers.
We were there in the late season and it was great. We were warned that in warmer weather the bugs are fierce since the campgrounds is surrounded by swamp.
Very good for what it is. A place to camp while exploring Yellowstone and the surroundings.
Very reasonably priced for a full service campground in a high demand area.,
Friendly personnel.
Even though it is very close to town the hillside from the park to town is very steep, so don't expect to just take a casual stroll.
Really nice facility! We arrived just before closing but got helpful pointers from the ranger and interpretative staff that still let us see the Clark name carving in the rock and read the signs in the 30 minutes we had before we had to get out.
Very close to the highway and worth the time to stop
OK, it really is big. And we got to see the albino real buffalo. Good for a quick stop.
Great reason to break out of the trance of following I-94 and stretch your legs.
