Beautiful temple and surrounding nature. Walk around to see the many peacocks roaming the surrounding grounds. This is a New Vrindaban Hare Krishna community but anyone is welcome to tour and explore.
This place is CLOSED. I believe they moved the clock to the town of Sugarville.
Love this place. The inn is inside a state park so you have to pay a state park fee the first night here. But then you have access to the park as well. The inn has a restaurant, rooms to hang out in with tv's, or a fireplace, or puzzles to work on. Small indoor pool, and kids area downstairs. But the best part is the lake right in front of the inn. You can rent paddle boats. They sometimes have a campfire set up in the evenings. In the winter there is a toboggan sled. Fall you can ride horses. You can choose to rent a cabin to save money. The ones with two beds are quite small but good if you just need a place to sleep.
The diner part of this restaurant burned down from arson. But the owner/chef, Doug Katz, fixed the restaurant part and has pop-up events. http://www.thekatzclubdiner.com/
