These cascades can be seen from the highway and have areas to pull off for viewing.

This is the place that all of the outfitters from Las Vegas like to use for their Emerald Cave kayaking trips. You can use your National Park pass to enter. Just upriver from here is the original proposed site for Hoover Dam. There is also a motor boat landing here.

This is a small privately owned bakery that has all types of cakes, pies, cookies, etc. You can have special orders prepared, and also get sandwiches for lunch. There is no area to eat on the property. It's located on the corner near the hospital. Nice people

Very pricey. Beautiful and unique location. All guest rooms are upstairs (small circular stairways). Some of the rooms have a shared bath. The breakfast is wonderful, but they try to nickel and dime you for items like candy bars, snacks, etc. There is a nice walk up to the lighthouse which is open to the public. Remember, this is Oregon...No air conditioning.

If you're going to stay here, make sure to ask for one of the tower rooms. They're newer and nicer. The food is just OK, but the café makes a nice breakfast. The staff is friendly. The casino has only 1 roulette table, and the pit doesn't stay open 24 hrs. The soft drinks are complementary, but alcohol isn't.
