A great stop. You can be quick an just snap a picture, or there is information and other attractions nearby of you have more time. Geocachers, there are a couple you can find here!
A really nice museum celebrating the great contributions of the Tuskegee Airmen. I greatly enjoyed my visit!
A fun quick stop. It's at a gas station so it's convenient if you need a break! It's also just off the highway (we spotted it from the road) so it's not a big detour.
Parking can be crazy but there is a huge lot, so I suggest giving yourself some time and try not to rush it. If you go into the visitors center they have a schedule predicting when Old Faithful and other geysers nearby will erupt. There is a small museum you can kill some time in, or you can walk around the Old Faithful area.
If you're a geocacher be sure to pull out your app, there's one near the house! Also a fun bonus - the elementary school that's nearby was used in Kindergarten Cop! Tons of cool film locations around Astoria.
I was underwhelmed with the museum. $6 entry but there really wasn't much to see. Great photo op though outside! There's a gift shop in the museum that you can visit without paying entry.
