Copper Falls is a wonderful state park for camping! The park rangers are very nice and helpful. There is a good size lake, great hiking trails, and of course lovely waterfalls! The facilities are well maintained and showers are great. It’s a gorgeous place to visit. Ashland is close by for a day trip and there is much history in Ashland. Also, a very cool nature center near Ashland.
This is an interesting stop for sure! It is free and we are glad we stopped. It was a nice 15 minute break to stretch our legs and look at some impressive sculptures. The mosquitos were quite bad when we visited in June. We would have looked around a bit longer but then bugs wouldn’t let us! Lol
