Love this little pocket park. I have been in Charlotte for 2 years and work in UPtown and had never noticed it. It is tucked in and once you are in it, you totally forget that there are busy roads on either side of you. So much art tucked away within the park. Has a book/reading theme which is only barely cheesy and mostly really great.

Such a beautiful place. I was so surprised this place wasn't packed. The way the water forms the canyon in soft curves is incredible.

Beautiful scenic drive! There are so many stops along the way that make the trip go so fast. There is also a ton of wildlife along the way. I would suggest spending 2-3 days around banff, 1 day driving the Icefields, 1 day in Jasper, and 1 day driving back to the airport area you're flying through on the icefields parkway. Must stops- Mistaya Canyon, Takakkaw falls, Lake Louise, Athabasca Glacier, Peyto Lake. I went in early September and I never felt like the highway was "busy". Occasionally we would pull off to the side to let someone by but no one was ever in our way and for the most part we had the road to ourselves. We spent about 6 hours the first time down it and a little over 3 hours driving back towards Banff the second time.

Wait an insane thing to be able to walk to a glacier. The hike isn't too long but can get cold and breath taking with the elevation. A definite stop along the icefields parkway. You can't physically touch the glacier but the view is great.

One of the most beautiful sites I have seen. Yes, the place gets very busy but that doesn't mean it is not breath taking. Get there very early and keep in mind that it will be busy and you'll have a great time. YOU MUST HIKE TO LAKE AGNES TEA HOUSE. This was my favorite experience of the entire trip. There's a hike from Lake Louise to a tea house and its quaint and wonderful. The hike is strenuous but not long

Unreal color, so beautiful and the hike up has wonderful wildflowers and trees. Was extremely crowded in September but there are hikes you can take that are not busy.

Definitely stop here. It's a quick hike and absolutely incredible. I had never seen a waterfall so tall.

Absolutely breath taking. All the water in this area is a beautiful blue but Moraine Lake was a deeper blue and so gorgeous. I loved hiking on the rocks piled on the side. With Moraine you park and walk to the front of the parking lot, and there it is. It is a must see and plan to spend an hour here even though the hike is so small.

Banff was an incredible experience and I would recommend it to everyone! I went in early September and it was absolutely beautiful. Top sites - Lake Louise/Lake Agnes Tea House, Mistaya Canyon, and Icefields Parkway. Way a very relaxing trip of driving, sight seeing and hiking. It was like nothing else. I would definitely recommend renting a car to have the ease of rearranging plans and stopping at a moments notice to look at elk or an off road attraction.

Great Stop. This sits on the edge of the Banff Downtown. You can park and after walking no more than .5 mile, immediately see it. You have to option to hike around it for different views. I thought it was a perfect little stop before dinner. It also gives you beautiful views to the historic hotel next to it.
