Cute little town. The painted churches tour is AMAZING

Gorgeous presidio, with a lot of the history of the Fannin massacre as well as the missions in the area.

This would have been better for kids. The tour guide had a cheesy plastic crown and ushered the kids into different areas. It seemed crowded, and most of the adults seemed to head to the main building to get an early start in the sack lunches.
I'm hoping we were just there in an off day though, its under construction and tools were left accessible, which seemed unsafe.
