Name and ownership recently changed!! Almost drove past it. When finally settled in nothing special except the proximity to the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center, which is very easy to find anyway, and distant enough it would warrant a shuttle service which is NOT provided.
The Virginia City reference to being close to West Yellowstone is entirely ACCURATE for anyone willing to read the full address. As with many city names, there is more than one Virginia City. The one discussed here is in MONTANA!!!
This is a business office for a company that creates tours. It is NOT a site to visit and should not be included as such. We made the mistake of stopping by and were very surprised to find an office building and nothing cultural about the location.
All we can say is WOW!! This is a plumb of an RV park. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon about 6 pm and the park was already full!! Then we were greeted by the most upbeat and helpful staff of our 30 day trip around the U.S., and that is saying something because we have met many great folks. They arranged an almost immediate shuttle into nearby Williams, AZ (a surprise all its own because it has so much to do!!) and were Johnny on the Spot with the personalized return shuttle a few hours later. The advice we were given about where to eat was perfect [be sure to drop into "Cruisers", especially if you want a good steak dinner]. We managed to get in a Zipline ride before returning to the park. The free breakfast was great, too. Wish we had more time but we will definitely be coming back.
Forgot to mention that the restrooms/showers here are the best in the country. Each shower room (with great water flow and HOT water) is accompanied by its own bathroom!!
Every bit of the description narrative is accurate. This RV park does lack the "additional amenities" that some of the higher profile and more urban RV parks tout, such as a swimming pool. Regular RV users rarely use those extras anyway, so it is not a minus in our family's mind. We concur - "quiet, scenic and very accommodating!
Forgot to tell folks - GPS is not good because of all the name changes of the street out front. Be sure to call ahead for better instructions on how to get there the first time. Well worth the effort because it is a great RV park.
It's so close to New Orleans we were able to use Uber. Great staff. Solid WIFI.
An excellent facility, with all the amenities they list. Showers did have a few of the ever-present small bugs, but we have discovered that comes with traveling in the South. Park is well laid out with easy movement into and out of RV sites. Full hookups were easily accessible. We did not need to use the cafe, though it seemed to have a small but adequate menu. During our two days of visit the pool for adults was pretty much a teen hangout (no surprise there). Very quiet in the evenings.
