The preserve has over 40 miles of trails that allow you to go out for a short stroll or an extended hours long hike. The scenic overlook trail cuts through the Windmill Pasture, which is home to a small bison herd. If you are lucky, you will see the herd while hiking. Please be very cautious when hiking anywhere near the herd. Bison are aggressive animals and do not need much of a reason to charge a person. The preserve is free of charge, which is all the more incentive to make the trip to this amazing location.

Zion is truly one of the most beautiful places on earth. It grabs you from the moment you enter the park and its memories will stick with you for years. As a few others have mentioned, Angels Landing is an incredible hike, but it is only for the sure-footed and not for the faint of heart, as it is definitely dangerous and should not be underestimated.

This is a fantastic beach campground. It can definitely be crowded compared to other campgrounds and some of the campsites are irregular sizes, but the location and views more than make up for it. During the summer most of the campsites will probably be taken by the late afternoon/early evening, so you should try to get there as early as possible.

This is a great campground as far amenities are concerned. The campsites are spacious and nestled into nice old growth trees. The bathrooms are clean; there are even really nice showers! The only downside is that because it is located literally right next to the interstate, you can hear the loud white noise of traffic all the time. Honestly, this is still a great place to stay a night.

The Big Horn Mountains and the Cloud Peak Wilderness are one of the best recreation locations in all of Wyoming. The Big Horn Mountains cover a massive area and it is worth spending at least a few days exploring all of the different regions, trails, and towns in and around them. The Cloud Peak Wilderness area within the Big Horns offers some of the best hikes with the best views. I would recommend the Sherd Lake Loop Trail which takes the hiker around several high elevation mountain lakes. I would also recommend the Circle Park Campground.
