This was SUCH a beautiful walk!!! I would give it five stars except you aren't allowed in the water. No creek stomping here! So four stars it is! It was still totally worth it I just wish I'd have realized you weren't allowed in the water before we went. Now you all will know!
Beautiful beach!!! COLD water!
It was SO neat here watching the seals! But as far as beaches... I wasn't impressed. It's a very rocky area and there were a couple of small, sandy areas but it just wasn't the best area for swimming in my opinion. Being so close to the seals was awesome though!

GREAT stop!!! The gardens here were so much better than we expected! The walking paths through it were very well done. There were paved, gravel, and dirt trails with plants from different areas and climates. Our favorite sections were the Japanese Garden and the Fantasy Garden. The Japanese Garden was SO beautiful!!! And the Fantasy Garden was just neat and the kids had a blast going through it! Oh and the train! They had a large G-Scale train near the Fantasy Garden that was really neat! We planned an hour and a half here and ended up taking about two and a half instead, and that was with jogging through part of it because a storm was coming in! Totally worth it!
Nice stop! My kids loved the Thunder Fountain. It was totally cool. The grounds were a nice place to walk. The Crystal Bridge Conservatory was neat but a bit pricey. At $8/adult, $5/kid... It was a bit expensive for the 20-30 mins that we were in there. Beautiful! But a bit expensive.

We had an AMAZING time here!!! SOO worth it!!!! They showed you the beauty of the bayou, which I, honestly, didn't believe existed! :embarrassed: LOVED it and would totally do it again!
I have to say, I was completely disappointed in this and so were my kids. :( Several displays were not working and there weren't that many there in the first place. They did, after we asked with wide eyes if that was ALL there was to the center, have a couple of people come out and interact with the kids and did ~an~ experiment... because the equipment for the second one didn't work. It was really a waste for the money. If it had been free it still would have only gotten three stars. I gave it two ONLY because they made a real effort with the kids after we complained. :(
