Playground was pretty standard - kids had a good time. Bathrooms were locked.
We stopped as a day stop on our road trip, and it was more than we could even enjoy during our short stop! Great restrooms, covered picnic areas, and lots of family activities. We played disc golf, and this is now in my list of top courses to play with the family. It was well maintained & labeled, and was a good difficultly level with a variety of course obstacles. My son loved the playground and the BMX track, and there was even RC car racing. We definitely plan to keep this stop in future road trip iteneraries!
This park is beautiful! Right up on the river, with tall, mossy trees, and was well maintained.
For all you glampers, it even had flush bathrooms and showers with hot water.
We didn't stay to explore/play, but they also had a boat dock, basketball court, playground, and lots of great walking/easy biking areas. We will definitely be adding this to the list of great family campsites for future reference.
