Right next to the road. No other towers around so you can't miss them. Just rolled our windows down and took a pick:)
Pretty Building. Came here to visit the Route 66 museum on the property, but it was closed. So we walked around and checked out the place. My 5 year old son loved exploring and seeing all the train tracks. The Western American Railroad Museum is there as well... a number of trains are around one of the parking lots. My son took pictures on every train. Cute little find:) Posted pictures above.
Check in staff was very nice. Rooms were clean and fit all of us nicely...4 plus our infant in a pack n' play. Restaurant food was ok and the staff was awesome! Liked the courtyard below our room with the lighting on the trees. Larger than normal hot tub fit lots of people. Made it nice to have other restaurants, gas station and a general store in the same area. Cute place that made for a great stay.
You can either walk or get on a bus to this spot. You can't drive. It was such a site to see! It wasn't crowded at all when we got there because we arrived just before sunset. It was beautiful!!! This stop is the farthest point out into the canyon than the other stops along this stretch of drop off points. Plus they have bathrooms. Pretty! Pretty! Pretty! My pictures don't do it justice!!
Breathtaking view!!! Never seen anything like it. We drove through the valley in our car and just took picture after picture. And with all of those pictures it still didn't capture the scale of the place. It was just so pretty seeing it in real life! We had a great view at our place for the night... Goulding's Hillside Suite. Would reccomend that place to everyone.
Fun, but really bumpy!
Amazing!!! Very cool! Don't just drive through, get out of the car and check both sides out.
It's an interesting place for sure. Lots of different things/people to see. Expect crowds and just enjoy it while you are in it. Don't be in a rush or you will just get angry and frustrated. We had fun with the kids:)
Cute place to stop is you have kids. My tree had a blast exploring.
