It's a fun stop, bathrooms, gas, The Thing and ice cream.

There is still a sign off the highway coming from TX advertising but when we got to Steins it was closed with no trespassing signs. It was literally right off he side of the exit. You could see the old town and take pictures but not walk around. It was a quick no merge up a hill back on the interstate west so only stop if you really want a picture (until the owner decides to open it again).

A bit far off, lots of construction going on. It's a funny pic but nothing else around

It's right along Florida States campus and is kinda over grown, no parking so you can't stop and walk the monuments but we got some good pics

If you are coming from Mobile, it's the exit for Waveland and NASA. My GPS and this app told me to go up to an exit 7 miles out of the way then turn around. Completely wrong directions so we missed it :(

Cute, not busy and easy off/on the highway. No gas or stops nearby if you are trying to plan
