Great state park with a cute swimming hole! Our kids loved playing at the park and swimming. We would definitely stay here again. There are a couple short hikes that are beautiful and great for hiking with kids.
We had a horrible experience here. We arrived and the hotel had closed their pool and didn’t have their continental breakfast available. We resigned ourselves to this, but when we went down to our room, the whole floor smelt like sewage. It was the worst smell and completely intolerable. We left immediately and went to Super 8 in town and had a great experience there. We requested a refund from Quality Inn, but they made the process complicated and we had to jump through a number of hoops to get a refund. Do not stay here. There are much better hotels locally that have competitive prices and are pet friendly.
Loved this campground. The pool and hot tub were great, bathrooms were spotless, and they placed us right next to the parks which our three kiddos LOVED. Right next to the entrance to Mesa Verde.
