Interesting memorial if you are interested in aviation - we did not have to pay to park the day we went.

The hook ups were too far back on the site. We had to pull our electrical cord 30 feet to connect and the sewer hose was not long enough. We are 38 feet towing a jeep, if we had disconnected the jeep - we probably could have parked far enough back to reach the hook ups. The wifi did not work even though they told us it did. The next morning we moved the RV to pull back through so that we could dump - their sewer tank started over flowing. They told us to go to another site. We moved the rv again, this sewer tank was marginally better as it did not overflow but it was close.... The lots are tight for big rigs. The people are nice and the park is quiet.

Beautiful! $20 to get in the park - but worth it. We ate lunch at one of the lookout views - it was beautiful!

We stopped here and found the entire facility quite impressive. They have just completed a new 20 million building in 2015. Quite impressive/interactive museum and short film clip. We felt that the admission price was well worth the money. The admission ticket price is their only source of income. They do not receive government money. We spent about 2 hours onsite viewing the crater and spending time in the museum. They do have a Subway onsite if you are hungry. A lot of scientific research is still conducted onsite. We were there on a very windy day (gusts up to 75mph), which added an element of excitement for our son.... But overall we felt it was well worth the money - we would recommend this to anyone interested in science/space. We almost did not stop because of the previous reviews, but we are very glad we did. I'm not sure of the previous facility, but what they have now is really nice.

We did the tour inside the dam which was very informative and interesting. For the engineers in our family - they were quite impressed!!
