Nice little park but not much there. The fort is basically a replica of a fort with nothing inside. The sod building is interesting. Not really worth a stop on a road trip.

Great forest center with birds of prey and lots of trails. Take the trail to see the Missouri River. Kids and adults will have fun on the zip line / ropes course that is new this summer (Aug 2019).

This is a great park! We enjoyed the chance to see the home, barn and outbuildings which are original and in great condition. This is a bit off the freeway but worth the 10 minute diversion.

Nice place with several modern tractors that you can climb in to see the view. The kids had fun here sitting in the huge combine machine and the small tractors as well. Some history as well as a nice gift shop for your John Deere branded clothes, hats and toy tractors.

Cool place for an event or show. They have a great venue and we were impressed with their focus on music education.

Really nice little museum in Le Claire. History of Buffalo Bill but also a full Paddle Wheel boat from the 1800’s. That was the most interesting part of the museum as you can really see how they built and operated those vessels. The kid had fun looking for the clues in the scavenger hunt. Worth an hour stop for sure.

Nice to see but mostly just branded cheap items from China. Very few actual items from the show or antique items to purchase. Fun quick stop if you are a fan of the show. The town is very nice and is worth a visit.

Free museum worth an hour stop in Waterloo. Great collection of vintage tractors and interesting history of John Deere and the Waterloo factory.

The ranch was great and far more than we expected. The rangers and guides were all great and we learned a lot about the ranch and overall life in the late 1800’s. Worth a stop for an hour and the views are great as well.

This is a nice amusement park with great coasters and some other rides. The Timber rides are really fun. It got busy I’m afternoon so went to the water park which was great on a hot day. Overall a fun day with the family.
