Worth the stop! Take Exit 112 from either direction off I40 and you won't have any trouble finding it. Using the Navigate link and choosing Google Maps took us to the middle of nowhere and the giant cross was nowhere in sight!
Peaceful and serene. A purely magical experience. Eclectic furnishings and artwork with anything you could possibly need.
Nice clean room. Friendly and helpful staff. Husband LOVED sausage gravy at breakfast. Good value for the money. Only downside was the musty smell in the room that dissipated after we turned on the air conditioner. Tip: Before you book a room through another travel app, call the hotel directly to compare the price. I booked the room through Expedia and paid $94 (room rate plus tax). At checkout I asked for a receipt and was told that it might not reflect what I actually paid. It didn't - the receipt reflected the hotel rate of $74.
