This place is absolutely breathtaking. My only regret is that I didn’t take a tour so
I’m sure I missed a ton.
A stunning tribute to a brilliant musician. You drive up and see a majestic backdrop and a statue of Ray at his piano atop a fountain of sorts. Those who come out of their car to explore are rewarded with Ray’s music being piped in around the statue and you slowly notice that the path around you is fashioned into piano keys and the benches are musical notes. This is incredibly well done. You stop at 10 roadside attractions and some are bound to disappoint. This makes up for all of those. It was a quick photo op that turned into a 30 min stroll. Well worth the stop for anyone in the area
This is what road trips are all about. A quick, kitschy little stop where the kids can park their butts in the palm of the mighty Kong for a photo op while everyone stretches their legs.
I’m sad to report that as of 11/9/21, this place is no longer opened. A window was shattered and boarded up and the interior was empty. Too bad because it looked to be really cool.
Drove way out of our way to find this place and nothing was there. I think this place may have closed down
After doing a massive detour off of the highway, we were disappointed to find that this is someone’s house with a few dozen blueberry bushes. It wasn’t worth the hike in our opinion. We couldn’t even figure out which house to stop at.
A cute little attraction right off of the highway. The peaches were delicious and the staff super friendly. They had a good variety of goods for sale but I think they’re leaving money on the table. They would sell cute “peach themed” shirts and hats with peachy sayings on them like hotcakes. It is well worth the stop especially since it is right off of the highway.
CLOSED FOR BUSINESS AS OF JULY 1ST 2018.
