Great place to watch a hockey game! The jumbotron is so big, every seat in the arena is a good seat.
Such a beautiful campus! It's a great place to walk around and enjoy all the old architecture and take in all the history.
The college is in the old post office and is really beautiful inside and out. All of the classrooms are on the edge of the building with a giant opening that looks down on the cafeteria. Also in the hallways, you can find the old mail chutes. If you ever have a chance to check out the building, don't miss it!
Great place for Mediterranean food! While they're falafal isn't the best in the city, it's still pretty damn good. Their hummus is also really good. I highly recommend it.
I may be biased since I grew up in Buffalo, but I think this is one of the most iconic buildings in the city. It's instantly recognizable and a great old building in the middle of downtown. The interior is full of amazing artwork and the building itself has lots of really cool architectural features.
If you're not afraid of heights, take the elevator to the top floor and go on the observation deck to get the best view of Buffalo. Best part is it's free! On a clear day, you can see for miles into the suburbs since Western NY is so flat.
The food at Triple Rock is amazing, especially if you're vegetarian/vegan. I'm used to only have one or two options to choose from, but I didn't have that problem here. I'm not sure if they still offer it, but they used to serve a "chef's choice", which was the chef would make whatever he wanted for you and you couldn't refuse it. There might have been a contract involved as well, I don't know because I was never brave enough to try ordering it.
A cool little dive bar in the heart of Allentown. They have live music sometimes which is pretty cool. It has the perfect sized stage for live music. Not my favorite venue in Buffalo, but it gets the job done.
Great Ethiopian food at a great price! Everything i've had here has been delicious. The layout is a little small, but it's not bad.
I am never satisfied with the food I get here. The only reason why I keep going back is at other people's insistence of meeting them there. I liked it better before they added a second floor and that tacky new sign. It had more of a diner feel then.
One of the most iconic hockey arenas in the world. It's not aging well, but it will be sad when the Red Wings don't play here anymore.
