A nice scenic drive to the dam. The dam itself is cool because it's the tallest. The little Tennessee River is pleasant to look at, but all in all it's not too exciting. A good place to stop for a quick pack lunch.

I planned our trip a few weeks in advanced, and I'm so happy I decided on using NOC as our outfitters! I researched for days on all the Rafting centers in the area before, NOC is definitely the best choice. We rented 2 single duckies, and the trip was great! About 4 hours in total for the adventure and well worth the price (which included a wet suit rental)! We will be going through NOC for any future trips and outdoor activities when we are in North Carolina!
