Fun quick side trip on the loneliest highway. Great views over the valley, good picnic stop

An old pony express stop, Middlegate is now a restaurant/campground. It’s bizarre but super friendly. The food was slow but good. The dry camping is free. Tons of old cars and weird stuff litter the property.
