Over priced and unkept. Dirty floors/walkways; even bandaids and trash that stayed on sidewalk all day with attendants walking past. Changed in parking lot because felt dirty in restrooms.
Great people! Pumpkin patch in October. Christmas trees, reindeer and Santa with hay rides through mile long Christmas lights while feeding the camels and zebras at the end. Lots of other cool exotics with pony rides anytime of the year.
Corny little side show place. Junk stores galore filled with China cheap trinkets. The North Carolina/South Carolina state line sighs are there if you like to be in two states at once 🤪
Interesting historical site. The ferry ride fee is a bit steep, but amazing to see where battles were fought.
Splurge on the carriage tours for this area! Jan is perfect time of year. Interesting history.
Beautiful cave and waterfall. But groups are too large to be able to enjoy the sights or hear the guide. Only have less than 5 minutes at the falls before having to leave. Been here several different times of the year, and always busy! This is a go once kind of stop. Lesser know Raccoon caverns is larger, less paced, small groups and more beautiful.
