This place was an awesome deal with the nicest owners. We stopped when we began our trip and they were all booked up. But the owner helped us book another room in town online. We made sure to call ahead on the way back and got a double queen for an amazing rate. It was very clean and quite. And there's a coffee shop that opens at 7 am on the premises. Also the reception area floors and counter are beautiful with pieces of petrified wood.

On of favorite places to car camp or just visit for the day. Lots of easy and moderate trails to choose from and very kid friendly. Great playground area near the damn. We often take the kids down to the dam to play in the water.
