Supposed to be the fountain of youth! It's an awesome little park although it's usually packed which can get kind of gross. Visit on a weekday and it's usually much less crowded. They've got a few historical buildings on the property so explore the area!

Such a perfect hiking park! Amazing views everywhere you look, decent day hiking trails that wont poop you out too much, and there's also quite a few good places to swim!

The Rookwood is currently hosting their annual 2014 art exhibit "Hidden." Until October guests are invited to explore the grounds to search for all of the sculptures that have been added throughout the gravestones. The cost of the event is free!

Good news! A group from Wisconsin is starting a Summerwind Mansion Rebuild project that will hopefully raise enough funds to restore the building back to its glory days using the original blueprints.

So much fun. Stopped here on a whim and ended up spending 4 hours exploring everything. Loads of awesome photo ops so bring your camera. So cool getting to see the rockets up close and the exhibits are full of so much stuff it will keep you preoccupied for hours. Defiantly recommend coming here!

You can't miss him. When you get up close you can actually tell that the whole thing was built by hand, it's pretty awesome. Nothing much in the gift shop you'd actually want to buy but maybe a postcard.

Fun for the zombie horde, not fun for the commuters. Seattle's zombie walk is probably my favorite one in the country and I've done quite a few. There's always a HUGE turn out with lots of awesome costumes and everyone is really there just to have a great time. If you've zombie walked before you'll love it, if you haven't prepare to have an awesome time!

Something in here will make you laugh until snot is coming out of your face. There is something so wonderful about an absolutely terrible portrait, and this place has some of the best!

Seattle has a ton of really awesome fountains, my personal favorite being on the border of the International district, but the International fountain comes in a very close second. It's usually packed, especially if it's a nice warm day, which is sometimes few and far between in Seattle, so expect loads of people when you visit!

Very weird and very Washington. It's really just nothing more than an awesome yard art installation, but it's also a great place to stop and grab some pics. If you're in the area it's totally worth a stop.
