This place is so busy that you're probably going to have to wait in line just to get, but it's totally worth it because OWLS! They actually have a really great coffee and pastry selection that are obviously shaped like owls, but that only makes it taste better!

When you're there go to Easton Cemetery just down the street where John Selee owner (and builder) of the Mill was buried. His weird son Nathan's body however is nowhere to be found.

For the entire month of October, Oregon Caves will be hosting the Haunted Candlelight tour that takes guests on a spooky adventure throughout the dark and spider-infested underground tunnels. Each group will be given a designated tour guide to creep them out with tales of local hauntings, and ghost stories about the cave itself.

Kilmainham Gaol is so overrun with ghosts that it makes your average haunted jail seem like a great place spend a relaxing weekend. When it's not the prisoners you have to worry about, but the rather the violent poltergeist activity, you know you've got a bad case of the spookies. If you're looking for an awesome spooky place to visit, this is THE PLACE.

I love that this reserve does themed weekends to keep things fun. They just had a costume weekend and for the entire month of October they're doing Bigfoot everything... dances, hikes, BBQ's, and even campfires!

So. Freaking. Cool. They're about to host the 2014 DEATHCON, which is an amazing LARPing event where attendees spend the weekend living in a dystopian world where they have to protect their territories. In other words, this place is freaking awesome!

When you order room service a robot delivers it! It's the perfect hotel for someone who doesn't want to talk to anyone at all. And the robots are pretty awesome!

Everything looks like a postcard. You can't look anywhere without wanting to pull out your camera to take a picture. For the avid hiker who finds Longs Peak to be too much of a challenge, try Hallett Peak because it's a bit easier.

It's like an amazing alien landscape as far as the eyes can see. It's hard to actually believe what your eyes are seeing when you visit for the first time. Bring water, sunscreen, comfy shoes, and a sense of adventure! Oh yeah, and your camera!

This is my favorite drive in the country. It doesn't matter what the season is (although I prefer the fall) it is quite possibly one of the most scenic and beautiful views. Make sure not to try to get through the mountains at night because you'll miss out on seeing all the gorgeousness!
