The Morrin Center is so great! It's not just a great library, but they also offer readings, lectures, events, concerts, and guest are invited to explore the the jail cells left behind from its days as the provinces first prison. It's an amazing building, with an even cooler history, that's been restored and preserved for generations to explore. It's one of many amazing historic buildings Quebec City has to offer, and a definite must see for history lovers.

For obvious reasons, everything on the menu sounds exceptionally unappealing, horror-themed, and/or pretty gross sounding. To give you an idea, they have a drink named "sperm juice" that comes with a banana carved into the shape of a penis… for real.

Because sometimes you just don't want to have lunch with anyone but yourself. It's such a fun, whimsical place and the food is actually really delicious! The cake pops are especially delicious.

This place is so busy that you're probably going to have to wait in line just to get, but it's totally worth it because OWLS! They actually have a really great coffee and pastry selection that are obviously shaped like owls, but that only makes it taste better!

When you're there go to Easton Cemetery just down the street where John Selee owner (and builder) of the Mill was buried. His weird son Nathan's body however is nowhere to be found.

For the entire month of October, Oregon Caves will be hosting the Haunted Candlelight tour that takes guests on a spooky adventure throughout the dark and spider-infested underground tunnels. Each group will be given a designated tour guide to creep them out with tales of local hauntings, and ghost stories about the cave itself.

Kilmainham Gaol is so overrun with ghosts that it makes your average haunted jail seem like a great place spend a relaxing weekend. When it's not the prisoners you have to worry about, but the rather the violent poltergeist activity, you know you've got a bad case of the spookies. If you're looking for an awesome spooky place to visit, this is THE PLACE.

I love that this reserve does themed weekends to keep things fun. They just had a costume weekend and for the entire month of October they're doing Bigfoot everything... dances, hikes, BBQ's, and even campfires!

So. Freaking. Cool. They're about to host the 2014 DEATHCON, which is an amazing LARPing event where attendees spend the weekend living in a dystopian world where they have to protect their territories. In other words, this place is freaking awesome!

When you order room service a robot delivers it! It's the perfect hotel for someone who doesn't want to talk to anyone at all. And the robots are pretty awesome!
