Most beautiful site on top the mountains and Highest Point in Tennessee. The Hike up to the Dome is paved but steep so take your time, take water, and flashlight if you plan on staying up at the Dome to see the sunset or Sunrise.

It was an amazing site of Nature that words could not really describe. I have been there twice and each time was a different season. A must see if you come to this area

Nice beautiful nature drive on a one way loop. Some days if your lucky you will see wildlife hanging about.

I have been here since last May as a work camper. It is a beautiful area and so close to Cades Cove drive,Shady sites, friendly staff, clean restrooms and laundry room. Small play set for children, Large covered Pavilion for outdoor use (with grills)
Many tubing places for $10 all day tubing, Trout fishing ( little river is stocked with trout 2 times every month). Great food places in the area for a eat out day or night. Horseback riding in the area, Long walk way on both sides of road all through Townsend. Tuckaleechee Caverns 4 miles away.

Only 7 miles to Cades Cove, a short drive to Maryville, Pigeon Forge and Gattlinberg drive through the mountains. Very beautiful Drive with so much to see.
