This place is off the beaten path but SO worth it to see...beautiful and amazing would be an understatement. You'll have to drive on sketchy gravel back roads, but rest assured that the Rocks are there even if all you see are miles and miles of farmland. We used Siri and it took us right to the spot; had phone service the entire time too so not completely in the boondocks. Highly recommend it, you won't regret going!

I'm giving this place 5 stars solely based on the lot/location of our stay, which was right next to the Colorado river. It was the most beautiful location we ever rv'ed in.
The other people there were extremely friendly and nice; lots of families and kids riding their bikes around. Only downside was their bathroom, needs serious updating! If you stay here, ask to be in the lower lot of you don't mind NOT having full hookups (those were higher up the hill). We had electric and water through so we were happy! Would DEFINITELY stay here again!!

Good location and easy to pull-in (we noticed other campgrounds had really narrow alley-like entrances when we driving to this place). We initially called
two other places before this one (they were full) but so glad we stayed here instead.
Check-in was easy, rv/cabin/tent areas are nicely situated and had a beautiful view of a canyon. Camp was quiet and clean, except bathrooms & showers need serious updating. Other than that, was comfortable and would stay again!

Campground was right off the freeway, which was very convenient after a long drive; did a late check-in and the process was very easy with clear directions on how to get to our lot. As we're pulling in, there were smaller cabins flanking the rv area (which are in extremely close proximity to each other) with a bunch of younger/college-aged kids making a lot of noise, obviously inebriated. By the looks of things, I genuinely felt frightened and my husband asked me if I wanted to go to a nearby hotel instead. As experienced RVers, I said no, since it's only for the night.
Pulled into our lot, hooked up and had the most awful little bugs/mosquitos I've ever experienced. I was spraying deet like crazy and swatting then away until I noticed there was blood after squashing them. I have my fingers crossed that we don't contract anything or get sick...it's was THAT bad.
On a positive note, the camp was quiet where we were in the middle (away from those little party cabins) and the MAIN bathroom by the front was clean and updated. The bathroom in the back of the camp (next to the cabins) are small, dirty and a bit scary.
Overall, I would NEVER stay here again and clueless as to how they got rated 4 stars..? I booked our stay here based on others reviews and feel duped. We've had our share of run-down dumpy places (which this place is not), but it's a first where I didn't feel completely safe if it weren't for my very athletic husband sleeping next to me. Do yourself a favor and skip this one..!

We got in late at night but the setup and organization of the facility made our self check-in and setup very quick and easy. Campground is right off the freeway, so easy to access but slightly loud, but nothing obnoxious; more like urban white noise. Spaces are closer together but it general feel of the place is that people are here to rest/sleep after going out to the city rather than spending all day hanging around. It seems extremely kid/family friendly with a ton of amenities. The best surprise for us was how amazingly clean and comfortable the bathroom/shower facilities were. It felt like a shower at our local gym (smaller and actually way cleaner) equipped with hair dryers. We are just resting up for the night but would stay longer if we could. Highly recommend this place!

Beautiful campground that's clean, quiet, and spacious. It's not too far from the main road, but feels tucked away and very private. The lake feels like a beach and the vibe of the campground was relaxing and easy going. Nice play ground for kids, warm water to swim, and lots of shady wooded areas for rv's. Only downside were the crazy amount of bugs at night! Bathrooms were also no frills- looked like a park bathroom. If you're looking for a quiet retreat or a family friendly place where kids can play outdoors, this is it! Would love to come back another time in the future.
