Can't get close to it anymore. There is a big metal gate with no trespassing signs posted everywhere. I could only make out a small portion of it sticking out through the trees. Such a shame. Would have been cool to see up close.
Waterfall was absolutely stunning!!! We planned on going swimming when we arrived but due to a ton of rain they placed it off limits for swimming. So we hiked one of the trails instead and it was gorgeous even with the cloudy, damp weather. The sun came out just as we were leaving :( Will definitely have to visit again!
Awesome, awesome, AWESOME!!!! Little park tucked away and so much for the kids to see. My 10yr old daughter absolutely loved it. Wish we could have stayed longer.
This was super cute to see. Couldn't stay long though because it was cloudy and rainy.
Could not find at all. Using Google maps there was nothing around but this house that had a bunch of antique looking stuff in their yard. Maybe that's where this was at? But it was early in the AM and I didn't want to bother anyone.
Pretty cool to see one up close. Gives you a nice perspective of the size of these things.
This place was so awesome!!!! You HAVE to stop if you're passing through. If anything it's great to get out and stretch your legs on a long road trip. We did have to walk a ways since there was a lot of people. But we didn't bring any spray paint. There is plenty lying on the ground for you to use. Will definitely visit again if in the area.
Literally a giant red arrow which I found pretty random. Not far from the Interstate and needed gas anyway so this was a nice pit stop. We were there around 7AM so no cars in the parking lot and we were able to get a good pic :)
This place was pretty neat and definitely off the beaten path. We didn't get to enjoy the 'tours' or any hiking. We were just passing through and needed a campsite. Very basic site but FREE and was full when we arrived. People were very nice and helpful. Caution: The road to the campsite is very rocky and bumpy. Wouldn't recommend for low vehicles or sports cars.
