I wish we planned more time to spend in this Park. We did the wildlife tour and Needles highway. Once we got to Sylvan lake we had lunch and played but we could have spent the whole day at the lake! Families were swimming kayaking and playing on the beach.
Loved it. We spent a few hours here climbing the rocks, eating and hiking around the monument. Sit for the ranger talk and visit the museum.
Dirty and unfriendly staff.
There were not a lot of bat in July because the female were with their pups in another cave. The cave and Thur we're still work the visit.
We paid $25 per adult and $15 per kid. Worth it. We went up around 8, ate a few appetizers in the restaurant and watched the sunset. Beautiful. I was a little chilly so bring a sweater.
My family love the Texas show. Fireworks, waterworks, gun slinging and lots of singing and dancing. We caught dinner before the show and it was good but the view was amazing.
Can't believe I've lived in Texas my whole life and didn't know this was here. We packed a lunch, took the tour and my kids participated in the junior ranger activities. Fun stop.
