We enjoyed our visit to Presque Isle State Park. There are several beaches to explore and a 13-mile path around the peninsula, great for biking, walking, running, etc. We rented bicycles and rode the path within 2-hrs; beautiful morning ride!
Great place to visit. The small museum offers a movie explaining the history and production of the Bush family products, as well as a self-tour of informative graphics. The staff is very friendly, great gift shop, cafe, and be sure to take advantage of a free photo with Duke the dog.

We enjoyed our stay at the Erie KOA Campground. The primitive campsite was wooded and comfortable, with a bath house nearby. The campground offered family-friendly activities, a laundry room, a well-equipped camp store, and a friendly staff.
We enjoyed our brief stay at Cowans Gap State Park. Large campground with a variety of different types of camping options, mostly wooded and shady. Beautiful lake surrounded by mountains; fishing, boating, beach, and picnicking all available.
We enjoyed our brief stay at Panther Creek State Park. A rather small campground, offering some updated sites and brand-new shower houses.
This park is amazing! The views are breathtaking, with many opportunities along Skyline Dr. We stayed at Loft Mountain Campground and Mathews Arm Campground. Each campground offered a different type of camping experience; both were interesting and comfortable. (no electricity or water at sites) Gorgeous park, a must-see for everyone!
