We stayed here in Summer 2017. It is a beautiful, convenient park located very close to Mesa Verde Cliff dwellings. Also, there are horses next door and we were able to do some impromptu riding lessons!
It was fun to see. Also, very hard to find. Got in a huge fight with the husband driving in circles! Ha ha ha! I will say, if you are using the GPS through the app, it is in the strip mall (or set of shops) just before the GPS tells you that you have arrived.
It's not so giant! :)
We visited here Summer 2017. Our GPS could not find it to save our lives!!! The address listed on Roadtrippers is not correct so please do your own research. Bring a can or two of spraypaint and leave your mark :)
This stop was incredible. We stopped by here Summer 2017. The cross is so majestic! There is an awesome gift shop as well as the Stations of the Cross below the giant cross. Very clean bathrooms as well. Very close to the highway as well.
We tried to stop here (Summer 2017) but had no luck. The store was closed. Some reviews had said that he lives the area behind the store and to look for him there, but no luck. Honestly, it was a little more of a detour than we wanted to make and it didn't work out.
We visited here in the summer of 2017. It was awesome to see one up close! We were blown away by the size! There is also a really great display case that teaches you all about wind power.
We visited here in Summer 2017. It was wonderful to see how a real prairie house frozen in time looked. We had a great time walking the grounds. We only stayed for an hour or so but it was worth the trip.
We visited this in Summer 2017. It was a quick detour but a great place to get out and stretch our legs and see something really cool. I had the girls read up on Van Gogh on the way there.
This is SUPER COOL. We visited here in Summer 2017. We watched the Bonnie and Clyde movie on the road before we got here. It takes you back in time when you see the exhibit.
